Tom Connell is Davines' Hair Art Director, een gloednieuwe rol gecreëerd om onze haaridentiteit uit te dragen en die Tom's sterke betrokkenheid zal zien in het maken van de fotografische collecties, shows en Davines Education programma. Zijn stijl bestaat uit unieke stukken, die hun eigen verhaal vertellen buiten het concept van mode.
Tom is een jonge en zeer getalenteerde stylist. Hij is geboren in Manchester, Engeland, waar zijn ouders vroeger een salon runden.
We kunnen wel stellen dat hairstyling altijd al in zijn aderen heeft gevloeid, dus het is niet verrassend dat de zestienjarige Tom naar Londenverhuisde om zijn identiteit als stylist te ontwikkelen en de creatieve invloeden van die internationale smeltkroes in zich op te nemen.
Recentelijker maakte Tom deel uit van het team van Trevor Sorbie, waar hij in 2015 de rol van Artistic Director op zich nam.

Mijn benadering is om de opleiding en de processen aan te reiken om mensen te helpen innoveren, niet kopiëren. Ik wil mensen helpen hun werk met een frisse blik te benaderen, inspiratie te zoeken op ongewone plaatsen en hen de vaardigheden bijbrengen om echt origineel werk te produceren.
Tom Connell is Davines' Hair Art Director, a brand new role created to spread out our hair identity and that will see Tom's strong involvement in the making of the photographic collections, shows and Davines Education program. Tom is a young and extremely talented stylist. He was born in Manchester, England, where his parents used to run a salon.
We can say that hairstyling has always flew in his veins, so it's not surprising that the sixteen years old Tom moved to London to develop his identity as a stylist, soaking up the creative influences of that international melting pot.
More recently Tom has been part of the Trevor Sorbie team, where in 2015 took up the role of Artistic Director.

My approach is to provide the education and processes to help people innovate, not replicate. To leave the person with more than haircut or colour techniques, I want to help people approach their work with fresh eyes, look for inspiration in unusual places and give them the skills to produce truly original work.
